F5C Trophy
Made by a young artist from Pays de Gex, Victor, alias Thorvie Créations. The F5C trophy is made up of a metal sphere which represents the Earth, overhung by a small lens. The 5 continents made of cold forged sheet metal rotate around it and are connected by metal rods. A metal dish shaped like a Dremel follows the contour of the earth, resting on a sheet metal base. This is the design of the trophy, the sculpture will be revealed during the inauguration of the festival. Two trophies will also be awarded during the festival, for the High School Prize and the Audience Prize. 3 Prizes awarded:

Théo Ivanez
Théo Ivanez was born and raised in Gex. He spent a lot of time at the Le Patio cinema where he did his 9th grade internship. Théo has made short films with the MJC (Maison des Jeunes et de la Culture). He had to leave the Pays de Gex, with regret because he loves nature and the forest, to take a very technical course, an audiovisual BTS in Cannes.
Then leaving for Paris, Théo discovered the documentary during an internship. He has worked on several on-camera projects. During a trip to Norway, he heard some unknown post-war stories and wanted to make a film on one of these subjects.
It was with his documentary on the first camp for war refugee children opened in Germany in 1945, in Indersdorf, that Théo Ivanez experienced the 5 Continents Film Festival for the first time in 2019 to present his film, La Babel des enfants perdus. Today, he is back at the F5C to present his latest documentary, DGSE, la fabrique des agents secrets, and to chair the 2024 High School Jury.
