Berlin 1986. A German parish organizes a meeting in East Berlin, between young people from both sides of the divided city. There Anna meets Philipp, the son of a pastor living in DDR, a disillusioned but charming cynic with whom she falls in love. Their relationship continues by mail, between Anna's occasional visits to Philipp according to authorized procedure, for a single stolen day. But soon, an idea becomes an obsession: to be reunited once and for all, beyond the wall that separates them.

The film will be released in France on 9 November 2024, to mark the 35th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.
