Reboleira district in Lisbon, Rosinha, 20 years old, (played by singer Eliana Rosa) interprets the nostalgia of her children back home. Rosinha's quiet strength is filmed in a hypnotic setting with swaying Cape Verdean rhythms, like a musical in homage to ordinary women and to Cesária Evora, the barefoot diva.
