Nam and Viet love each other. Both work in the coal mine, 1000 meters down. While Nam dreams of a better life, a mysterious shaman promises him to find the remains of his father, a soldier who disappeared during the Vietnam War. With his mother, and the help of Viêt, he embarks on this quest, to find the ghosts of the past.
