Animated Cinema: a Female Perspective by Cécile Noesser
Through this cine-conference, Cécile Noesser, PhD in sociology and specialist in animated cinema, invites us to explore how animated short films have fostered a culture in which women’s voices can be expressed. The conference “Animated Cinema: a Female Perspective” offers an exploration of the female gaze, the aesthetics of desire, and the relationship to the body.
This encounter is a journey into an art where imagination becomes language, where drawing speaks, and where women’s voices open new horizons in the world of cinema.
- Saturday, October 4 — 1:30 p.m., Cinéma Voltaire
